The IEEE Access Best Video Award promotes and highlights the work of authors who have effectively used video to supplement their article. Authors of eligible submissions can enter to win a grand prize of a $500 USD Amazon gift card. The best video is selected by an independent editorial judging committee, and is announced biannually. Video is a great tool to enhance and promote your published article.

How to Enter the IEEE Access Best Video Award

Selection Criteria:

The best video will be selected by an independent editorial judging committee based on:

  1. Presentation of Technical Content
  2. Innovation
  3. Quality of the Video

Eligibility Period:

We are currently accepting entries for the IEEE Access Best Video Award 2026 Part 1, which includes videos included with article submissions between January 1 to June 30, 2026.

Read the Best Video Award Terms and Conditions page for rules applying to the current year’s award competition. If you wish to enter the competition, you will be asked if you accept these Terms and Conditions when you submit your entry below.

Submission Information:

Authors, submit your article and video through the IEEE Author Portal. Once you review the Terms and Conditions below and sign the following entry form, your video will be eligible to be considered for the award.
