Emanuele Crisostomi (Senior Member IEEE, ORCID ID: 0000-0002-7973-6357) received the bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, the master’s degree in automatic control, and the Ph.D. degree in automatics, robotics, and bioengineering from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 2002, 2005, and 2009, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor of electrotechnics with the Department of Energy, Systems, Territory, and Constructions Engineering, University of Pisa. He has co-authored the published book Electric and Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle Networks: Optimization and Control Series: Automation and Control Engineering (Crisostomi, Shorten, Stüdli, Wirth, CRC Press) in 2017, and is a Co-Editor of the book Analytics for the Sharing Economy: Mathematics, Engineering and Business Perspectives (Springer Nature). He has authored more than 150 papers published in journals and conference proceedings, and his h-index Scopus is 26. His research interests include control and optimization of large-scale systems, with applications to smart grids and green mobility networks.
