Recent Advantages of Computer Vision based on Chinese Conference on Computer Vision (CCCV) 2017

Submission Deadline: 30 November 2017

IEEE Access invites manuscript submissions in the area of Recent Advantages of Computer Vision. Although this Special Section is meant as a collection of best articles from CCCV conference, we also invite authors who are performing research in this field to submit.

The Chinese Conference on Computer Vision (CCCV), hosted by China Computer Federation (CCF) and co-organized by Computer Vision Committee of CCF, is a national conference in the field of computer vision. It aims at providing an interactive communication platform for students, faculty, and researchers from industry. It promotes not only academic exchange, but also communication between academia and industry. In China, CCCV is one of the most important domestic academic activities in computer vision. In order to keep track of the frontier of academic trends and share latest research achievements, innovative ideas and scientific methods, international and domestic leading experts and professors are invited to deliver keynote speeches, introducing the latest theories and methods in the field of computer vision.

CCCV 2017 will be held during October 12-14, 2017 in Tianjin, China, contracted by Civil Aviation University of China, and co-organized by Tianjin University and Nankai University. The conference will bring together a large number of computer vision researchers to share the latest achievements.

CCCV 2017 invites authors to submit articles to address the aspects relate to recent development of computer vision, including (but not limited to):

  • Image color and texture
  • Image segmentation and classification
  • Image-based modeling
  • Shape representation and matching
  • Photography and video
  • Biological vision inspired visual method
  • Object identification
  • Object detection and classification
  • Face and posture analysis
  • Video analysis and event recognition
  • Biomedical image analysis
  • Image and video retrieval
  • Image quality assessment and analysis
  • Image restoration
  • Image composition
  • Vision in graphics
  • Computer Vision Applications
  • Visual salient detection
  • Robot Vision

This Special Section in IEEE Access mainly invites selected and high-quality presentations that were presented at CCCV 2017 to submit their expanded articles to IEEE Access. Although this Special Section is meant as a collection of best articles from the conference, we also invite authors who are performing research in this field to submit. All the submissions should satisfy the IEEE Access requirements and will go through peer review.

We also highly recommend the submission of multimedia with each article as it significantly increases the visibility, downloads, and citations of articles.
